Where is the fierceness in nature?

Surely it is in the storms, the volcanoes, the lion bringing down a gazelle.

So why do I feel it in a sunset?  Why do I feel it in the stillness of a mountain?

The earth is not passive, nor is it unintentional.

If you are open to it, it will grab you by the heart with a fierceness that makes a hurricane feel inconsequential.
