I’ve been living and working at the intersection of travel and wildlife conservation for over 30 years. I have owned a sea kayaking guide service on Whidbey Island in Washington, a tour company in Uganda, and have guided in Uganda, Rwanda, Peru, Greenland, Alaska, and Washington State. I’ve written guidebooks to three of Uganda’s national parks and created web content for numerous conservation and international development organizations. Most importantly, I have a wonderful and adventurous family who inspire me every day to want to make the world a better place.
